let's talk lacquer

I just want to take a few several sentences to give the highest of praises to.......Essie's 'splash of grenadine'. The other day I passed into Ulta and picked this up, along with 'cute as a button' and 'mink muffs'. There were have the "buy 2, get one free" sale on Essie, China Glaze, and Orly polishes.

Splash of grenadine is the epitome of polishes in my book. Gorgeous color, fantastic consistency, not streaky, and so so easy to apply! With two coats, you get this lovely shade of magenta pink on your nails. I have it on my toes right now and I couldn't be happier. Every time I apply it, I'm so surprised at how easily the color glides and rests. I'm afraid I'm going to jinx it! I've tried a few Essie polishes, and while I love the color, the application discourages me from wanting to reapply them. But, there is a new Essie favorite and I will continue to have this on my toes for the rest of the summer.

I present 'splash of grenadine' (not that you haven't seen it a million times by now, though)...
