Gray's Anatomy

Not so much the show, but the humongo anatomy textbook (however, the name of show was inspired by this medical book). While I enjoy fashion and design as much as the next person, I have a weak spot for anything sciencey. Maybe more of a passion than a weak spot. The nerd in me relishes in anything related to science, medicine, dentistry, etc. The fact that I was a Biology major most probably contributes to this love, and I will continue to love it.

I have been eyeing the Gray's Anatomy for some time, and I finally got it the other day at Barnes and Noble. It's a staple book for anyone interested in working in the health field, and I bought it to inspire and encourage me to continue with my career aspirations. I can't wait to flip through it and see what and if I recognize the medical jargon. You're probably like, this girl is mega nerdy. No worries, I will tolerate the judgment just this once.

Gray's Anatomy has found a lovely home on my bookshelf.

Another plus is that it's great for design! The look of the book mimics leather-bound books, which obviously I adore. It has ridges on the backbone, a ribbon bookmark, and silver embellishment - all details I appreciate. I love how Barnes and Noble has these collections of books and novels in this leather-form. So classically old-fashioned, and yet brand-new. These books are very fairly priced at only $15-20. If Gray's Anatomy doesn't interest you, I suggest you check out the other books like the Jane Austen or Chronicles of Narnia collection. The cover work on them is lovely, lovely.

Ok done, I apologize for rambling on about mi amor for science. Moving on now...
