i want to dress like boi

Happy July 4th to the US of A!

I have never been one to be too concerned with trends. I am certainly aware of them, and keep a mental note of what's stylish each season, but like any other sane person, I don't run out and spend umpteen amounts of money to satisfy the fashion critics. I normally like wearing what I think is fit, just enough to "make it work." But...there is one trend that is speaking to me. Pretty loudly, in fact. It's saying, how could you not be too concerned with me?

To say that I am loving women menswear is an understatement. I am so excited that this trend has been showcased on the runway, and even more excited that there is a following. Many celebrities have welcomed this trend, and even added their own little feminine twist to menswear. For a woman, adding a little bit of femininity, like color or accessories, to the holistic outfit is justly appropriate, and oh so chic. You definitely don't want to lose any female flair when dressing like a boy.

Take a gander at how Emma Watson and Olivia Palermo established the perfect balance of menswear into their outfits. I want this look ASAP.

I know this trend might not be for everyone, but I am completely sold! Now, all I have to do is find a way to incorporate this trend without looking too absurd.

Will you wear this trend?
