i like to smell pretty

I mean, really, who doesn't like love to smell pretty? Getting that whiff of your perfume during the day is the best, especially after you've had a stressful day and need a little bit of happiness to remind you that everything will be alright. So just breathe, and immerse yourself with whatever lovely smell you have on.

I love summer fragrances, the light notes during this time of year is perfect. When it's hot outside, you don't really want a heavy fragrance to overpower, so I like to opt for something fruity and crisp. Just enough to distract me from the sticky heat, and mentally transfer me to a cool bliss.

I love the description for the new Marc Jacobs pefume, Daisy Eau So Fresh. Sephora describes it as:

A whimsical interpretation of the original Daisy fragrance, this scent is more fruity, more bubbly, more fun! Open the bottle and you'll be transported to a field of sunshine that bursts with the flirty scent of flowers and the cheerful sweetness of fruits. Fun to look at, touch, and open, the gold top of the weighted glass bottle is covered in six soft-to-the-touch daisies with petals in white, pink, and yellow.

It echos with everything I need/want in a perfume. And, the bottle with the oh so cute cover is another plus. This is on my wish list for sure!

The fragrance that I will be wearing, and embracing, for the time being is Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. I've had it for almost a year, and it's my favorite perfume! It's so light and fresh, and feminine and dainty, and cool and radiant, and and and...I could write about it for hours. It reminds me of the original Marc Jacobs Daisy. I'm half-way through my Chanel bottle, and I don't want to end. But, fear not, I will repurchase!
